WAPDA Introduction:

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958

WAPDA owns the biggest dams in Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional dams to cover the growing needs of the power sector.

WAPDA’s goal is focused on developing neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to bring down the power tariff keeping in view the consumers. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.

These employment opportunities are opening on a Regular Basis. The Eligibility Criteria of these positions require B.E, BSc, BS, MS, Intermediate, MSc, DAE, Relevant Field Diploma, Matriculation, and Master’s Degree Qualifications in the same domain holding strong previous experience.

General age relaxation has already been included in the age limit. No further age relaxation shall be granted except 3 years of age relaxation to the candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, GB, and AJK.

A 10 years age relaxation shall be admissible to disabled persons applying against the disabled person quota. Age will be calculated on the last date of application.
